Happy Thanksgiving!!

Unfortunately, Thanksgiving in Japan isn’t quite the spectacle that it is in the United States.

However, to my delight, it was so excited driving together with my parent to get a new sake to favorite brewery.

It was the release date of a 2022 brewery season in Ohya Takasi brewery.

First brew of the year

Rice planted in the paddy from April to May 2022.
The rice has ripened then harvested from September to October.
This rice grain was brewed into sake.
The freshly brewed sake is sold from the end of November to March and is called “SHIBOLITATE”.

It means a sake brewed with rice that has grown with plenty of sun and water during 2022.

My parent and I’ve been waiting the day for long time!!
