Yamatoshizuku Junmaigingjo Ichihotumi

Yamatoshizuku Junmaigingjo Ichihotumi Akita prefecture Dewaduru English

Dewadulu brewery, Akita prefecture

This is a very sweet, feminine and beautiful sake. I would like to recommend it to those who try sake for the first time.
If you use a wine glass, it will be fun to see the little bubbles.

Rice producing area

Akita Prefecture is known as a rice production area. The area where this brewery is located is one of the largest in Akita prefecture.
In Akita Prefecture, 34 sake breweries are registered with the Japan Sake Makers Association.
One-third of the warehouses are located in the same Daisen city area.

From rice growing to sake brewing

The brewer worker not only brews sake, but also grows rice for sake in the rice fields, in cooperation with local rice farmers.
That’s why it can be closer to the taste of they want.

In particular, the sake I bought this time seems to have been brewed with a new type of sake rice “ICHIHOZUMI”, which is a combination of popular sake rice.

Trip to brewery hopping

According to the data of the Sake Brewers Association Central Association
There are many sake breweries in Akita prefecture where you can visit the brewery compared to other prefectures.
Your trip will be fulfilling if you see the architecture of the brewery and feel the history, taste the deliciousness of the sake, and enjoy the combination with the local food.

I hope you will have a relaxing evening!
